Background:

After 10 years in the corporate world, Colleen Coy decided to get back to her love of animals. Her knowledge of animals stems from her 5+ years experience working in Veterinary Hospitals and Pet Stores. She has experience handling and treating all kinds of animals, for example: rodents, reptiles, birds, fish, snakes, dogs, cats, ferrets, etc.

Colleen is a qualified PetTech Instructor and teaches courses on Pet First Aid and Safety for Your Pet.

Colleen lives in Felida with her three dogs; Shasta, Dealer and River. Shasta regularly helps out as 'demo' dog when Colleen teaches her Pet First Aid classes. Dealer & River enjoy working the sheep at Brigands Hideout in Battle Ground, WA. They are typical, hard working Australian Shepherds and enjoy 'helping' Colleen with pet sitting, chores and gardening.

Background:

Molly took an early retirement from the Dept. of Labor in 1994, and has been working part time at a variety of interesting jobs since that time. When Molly moved to Vancouver from Boise, Idaho four years ago, she found Sit & Stay! when a friend in Vancouver saw a job announcement and suggested she contact Colleen. And, as they say, the rest is history...

Her experience with animals is varied, including a stint as a volunteer at the World Center Birds of Prey, in Boise, Idaho, and she is currently a volunteer with Furry Friends, a no kill shelter for cats here in Vancouver.

As a child growing up, she and her sister, who is also an animal lover, had a variety of pets, including horny toads, birds, cats, dogs, hamsters, rats, chickens, horses, etc.

The love of her life is her 13 year old Yorkie, Lena, who, like Molly does not act her age. Molly is also a Certified Personal Trainer and Yoga Instructor, and is a volunteer at the Marshall Fitness Center.

In Las Vegas, she spent time volunteering at the animal shelter working with dogs and cats at one of the busiest shelters in the U.S. Kim is an activist for the humane treatment of animals and overall pet health. Although animal related activities consume most of her time, she also enjoys music, watching nature shows, and all things Disney.

Tyler Baldwin

Service area:
Tyler services North Clark County
Background:

Tyler Baldwin joined Sit & Stay! in 2004, and covers the northern end of Clark County. Having been raised with dogs and cats and rabbits and goats and chickens and horses, Tyler is comfortable taking care of all types of pets and farm animals.

After many years as a high-powered executive assistant, Tyler grew tired of the nine-to-five life, so she sold her condo in the San Francisco Bay Area and bought a beautiful place in the woods near La Center.

Ty has always depended heavily on the writing expertise she developed in college. She sold her first magazine article while still in school and has done freelance work ever since. With her move to Washington, Tyler took on more writing and editing jobs, and supplemented that income by joining the Sit & Stay! team.

She lives with three polydactyl cats: Kirby (the Grand Dame), Zoey (a Domestic Lynx), and Spike (the non-stop Energizer Kitty). In her free time, Tyler tends her one-acre yard and gardens, growing organic fruits and vegetables and raising free-range chickens.

Background:

Stephanie has lived in Battle Ground for 12 years, and in that time has had a little herd of rescued sheep and goats, llamas, foster alpacas from the alpaca rescue, and many many happy chickens. She also has three dogs (Eskimos Barclay and Navi, and Beagle Jack) and two cats. She is a fan of positive training, and she is particularly proud of Barclay who has passed his Therapy Dogs International certification and earned his Canine Good Citizen award.

Stephanie and her husband run an online toy store from their home in Battle Ground. When not working on that, she volunteers at Silver Buckle Youth Ranch in Brush Prairie, mentoring at-risk youth in riding and horsemanship. She also volunteers with the WSU Extension office's Food Preservation program, leading classes on canning around the county. For the past 5 years she has been active in 4H as a leader of Llama 101. She loves all animals, and life in the country.

Growing up she lived with many cats and dogs and as an adult had as many as 10 turtles at once. Besides her new husband, her best friend is her Chocolate Labrador, Guinness. They met when he was only a day old and have been attached at the hip since he was 8 weeks.

In her spare time, when she is not playing with dogs, you might find her skiing on Mt. hood, playing golf, kicking a soccer ball around, kayaking or hiking. She currently lives on the eastside of Vancouver and eagerly awaits meeting all your fury and non-fury friends.
