Colleen Coy

Service area:
Colleen services West & North Clark County
Background:

After 10 years in the corporate world, Colleen Coy decided to get back to her love of animals. Her knowledge of animals stems from her 5+ years experience working in Veterinary Hospitals and Pet Stores. She has experience handling and treating all kinds of animals, for example: rodents, reptiles, birds, fish, snakes, dogs, cats, ferrets, etc.

Colleen is a qualified PetTech Instructor and teaches courses on Pet First Aid and Safety for Your Pet.

Colleen lives in Felida with her three dogs; Shasta, Dealer and River. Shasta regularly helps out as 'demo' dog when Colleen teaches her Pet First Aid classes. Dealer & River enjoy working the sheep at Brigands Hideout in Battle Ground, WA. They are typical, hard working Australian Shepherds and enjoy 'helping' Colleen with pet sitting, chores and gardening.

Service area:
Molly services Southwest Clark County
Background:

Molly took an early retirement from the Dept. of Labor in 1994, and has been working part time at a variety of interesting jobs since that time. When Molly moved to Vancouver from Boise, Idaho four years ago, she found Sit & Stay! when a friend in Vancouver saw a job announcement and suggested she contact Colleen. And, as they say, the rest is history...

Her experience with animals is varied, including a stint as a volunteer at the World Center Birds of Prey, in Boise, Idaho, and she is currently a volunteer with Furry Friends, a no kill shelter for cats here in Vancouver.

As a child growing up, she and her sister, who is also an animal lover, had a variety of pets, including horny toads, birds, cats, dogs, hamsters, rats, chickens, horses, etc.

The love of her life is her 13 year old Yorkie, Lena, who, like Molly does not act her age. Molly is also a Certified Personal Trainer and Yoga Instructor, and is a volunteer at the Marshall Fitness Center.

Service area:
Rick services SR-14 Corridor and SE Vancouver
Background:

Originally from Chicago, Rick has worked and lived in the Portland/Vancouver area on and off for more than 35 years. After retiring from the U.S. Army at the tender age of 21 he spent the next four decades looking for enjoyable and rewarding work. His passion for music and art lead him to years on the road as a traveling musician and more years behind a drawing table, and later at a computer, as a graphic artist.

Over the years Rick has had a number of dogs, cats, and on occasion, horses. Knowing of his love for animals, friends have long urged him to pursue dog walking and pet sitting and it was this passion for dogs and cats and other living creatures that brought Rick to Sit & Stay. These days, when not caring for animals, Rick can be found playing music, working on art projects and sometimes wasting an afternoon on the golf course.

One of Rick’s rescues is his old friend, Ziggy, who was an S.P.C.A. Pet-of-the-Week on TV. Ziggy preferred a quiet life at home rather than that of a television star and he got what he wished for.

Service area:

Background:

Tyler Baldwin joined Sit & Stay! in 2004, and covers the northern end of Clark County. Having been raised with dogs and cats and rabbits and goats and chickens and horses, Tyler is comfortable taking care of all types of pets and farm animals.

After many years as a high-powered executive assistant, Tyler grew tired of the nine-to-five life, so she sold her condo in the San Francisco Bay Area and bought a beautiful place in the woods near La Center.

Ty has always depended heavily on the writing expertise she developed in college. She sold her first magazine article while still in school and has done freelance work ever since. With her move to Washington, Tyler took on more writing and editing jobs, and supplemented that income by joining the Sit & Stay! team.

She lives with three polydactyl cats: Kirby (the Grand Dame), Zoey (a Domestic Lynx), and Spike (the non-stop Energizer Kitty). In her free time, Tyler tends her one-acre yard and gardens, growing organic fruits and vegetables and raising free-range chickens.
